Generally, it will take five to eight weeks to the complete the typical pool. Larger project make take eight to twelve weeks. Inclement weather and other variables (such as required inspections) can extend the construction period. We always endeavor to complete your project as soon as possible. NO DRAGGING FEET.
What kind of damage will be done to my property?
Your backyard and surrounding pool area will be destroyed in order to construct you beautiful new swimming pool. Tracks from access points across your yard can be expected. Also, heavy equipment my need to be brought onto your driveway which carries the risk of causing cracks. Georgia Dream Pools is not responsible under the agreement for cracks caused by heavy equipment, but will be very careful to minimize the risk for our customers.
I don’t know anything about pools. What do I do once the pool is built?
A Georgia Dream Pools representative will meet with you after the pool construction is completed to go over your pool equipment, maintenance, and other general questions at no extra charge. If you choose to hire us to maintain your new pool on a weekly basis (service not available in all areas) you will not need to worry about taking care of your new pool at all.
What is a Salt Chlorination System and how does it work?
A salt water system is installed near your pool pump and several hundred pounds of common salt are dissolved in your pool water (no stronger than saline solution or a tear drop). The salt “cell” then transforms the salt molecules into natural chlorine molecules giving you a digitally accurate chlorine treatment for your pool. This system reduces the expenditures on chlorine chemicals completely making your pool much less expensive to operate each year. There is maintenance involved with a SWG system. What if I want to change something after construction has started?
Simply speak your GDP Project Manager on-site and complete a change order. This change order will track changes in the project as well as changes in the cost of the project.
